Ganter Lab 2026.9.0
The first public release of Ganter Lab. It is a complete station, not a preview: everything below is in the box on the first run, and a license changes only how long the runtime runs between restarts.
Talk to the equipment you already have
Fifteen protocols ship in the package: Modbus TCP and RTU, OPC UA, Siemens S7, Rockwell EtherNet/IP, Beckhoff ADS, Mitsubishi MC, BACnet, OCPP, Redfish, Matter, LoRaWAN, AVEVA PI, plain HTTP, and a simulated driver for building without hardware. Devices are discovered where the protocol allows it, and every point is read, scaled and written through one typed pipeline.
Build the logic in the application
Variables, actions, triggers and alarms are configured on the station, evaluated on one sweep and written through one funnel, so what the screens read and what the equipment receives can never disagree. The station also publishes its own OPC UA server, so what it computes is available to anything else on the plant network.
Record what happened, and prove it later
Process types and instances turn a bench into a repeatable test: a procedure runs, its channels are recorded, its occurrences and comments are kept with the run, and the run is sealed when it ends. Histories, events and reports read the same recordings afterwards.
Draw the screens yourself
Dashboards are assembled from basic components and a catalog of system symbols, bound to any address the station knows. Nothing is a closed black box: a screen is yours to change.
Let an agent help, on your terms
The station carries an MCP endpoint on loopback, off by default, with a master switch, per area toggles and a journal that records everything an agent did.
Free mode
Every feature is available without paying. An unlicensed station runs the runtime for one hour, or two hours when it is signed in to a Ganter account, and then stops it until you restart it, as many times as you like. A licensed station runs without a limit.
