Dashboard settings
What one screen declares about itself in the editor's Dashboard area: name, description, icon, the grid it composes on, the startup flag, the status bar in full screen, who sees it, and how it is deleted.
The Dashboard area of the editor's tool rail holds the settings that belong to the screen itself rather than to any component on it. It opens only when you choose it, and it saves as the other areas do: a text field when you leave it, a switch when you flip it. Like the whole editor it needs the Edit dashboards permission and a station that takes writes. On a screen of your own its heading reads "General settings for this operator screen."; on a screen defined on a Process model it reads "This screen belongs to a Process model. One definition serves every unit of it: each unit opens it over its own bound channels."

A copy of a screen inherits every setting of its source except the startup flag, which stays with the original.
Deleting a dashboard
Delete dashboard stands at the foot of the area in its own danger zone: "Removes this screen and all of its components." The Delete button asks first, naming the screen: "This removes the screen and everything on it (its components and their connections). The addresses they read stay in Logic." A refusal keeps the screen; a confirmed deletion removes it for every connection at once, the editor closes, and the page lands on the screen it would otherwise have opened. A screen deleted here cannot be undone from the status bar: the one-level Undo is for components and connections, not for screens.
What is not here
- The folder a screen is filed under is not a setting: file it from its row in the Visualization column (Screens and folders).
- The order among its siblings is the footer's Move up / Move down while the editor is open.
- Show on View is not asked of a screen of your own, which is always in the list; it is the switch on a model's Panels or Dashboards row in the Process workspace (Dashboards of a model), and a unit's entry on View has no settings area at all.
- A model binding is not chosen here: a screen belongs to a model because it was created on that model's Dashboards row, and a screen of your own never becomes a model's. What the binding changes in the editor (the abstract channels leading every address list) is on The dashboard editor.
