Install on Windows

Download the installer, then follow the steps below.

The browser and Windows warn about an installer they have seen only a few times. The notice is about how often the file has been downloaded, not about what it does.

  1. Keep the file

Microsoft Edge may warn that the file is not commonly downloaded: select “…” beside it, then “Keep”, “Show more” and “Keep anyway”.

Google Chrome may show “Suspicious download blocked”: open that warning and select “Download suspicious file”.

  2. Open the file

When the download ends, open GanterLab-win-x64-Setup.exe from the browser's list of downloads.

  3. Let Windows run it

If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, select “More info”, then “Run anyway”. The publisher shown there is Ember Engenharia Ltda, the company that publishes Ganter Lab.

  4. Install it

The installer asks nothing and needs no administrator: it installs Ganter Lab for your Windows user and adds it to the Start menu.

  5. First start

Ganter Lab opens when the installer finishes. Its first window asks you to accept its terms: tick both boxes and press “Accept and start Ganter Lab”.
